ABOUT ADRI
My
Story
There's no way to tell anyone's story in its entirety, because our journeys are all so unique and our lives so complex; but I can attribute my motherhood to some of my most remarkable moments. I became a teen mom at the age of 17 and became a single parent.
Some years later I reconnected with my first love, my now husband Keeven; and at the age of 21 and we then started our own family together. I went from being a mother of 3 to a mother of 7 when we became a foster parents to four boys, later adopting them at 24. Then at 32, I gave birth to my 7th biological child.

During my journey I've overcome deep depression recurring disorder, anxiety, attempted suicide and postpartum depression. I have been exhausted and overwhelmed in motherhood. I have given from a dry cup by pouring into everyone else but myself.

Often when being asked for advice, I reflect on my growth. I have lived through so many phases of myself. I truly feel that all of the lessons I have learned and the wisdom I have come to know are due to my journey through motherhood. I have a lot of kids. It's required me to learn lessons faster than most. And what I've learned is that we are all learning in different classrooms in the school of life. You must give yourself permission to learn, it's your own unique journey. And you must give yourself permission to unlearn it all
and to do what you know intuitively. That's how I heal. That's how I pour into my cup.
